This solution worked for me insomuch as my screen was restored. The screen flashed and refreshed a couple of times, then the display appeared as it was before the W10 upgrade. I confirmed the update request and the existing 'old' driver installed. I then navigated to the NVIDIA folder on my System Drive (C:) located the drivers folder - Windows the automatically found the existing pre-upgrade driver. I identified the problem Display device (same yellow triangle indicator as previous Windows versions) and selected update driver and 'search my PC' (Not search the internet). I eventually solved the problem by searching for Device Manager. My monitor display was restricted to Microsoft generic and the screen size was restricted and graphic icons distorted. Often a software update might end up messing up your display settings on a Windows 10 PC.The typical reaction would be to look for a reset display settings button. To change your screen resolution, use the drop-down menu under Display resolution. If you want to change the size of your text and apps, choose an option from the drop-down menu under Scale and layout. Before I upgraded to Windows 10, on my Windows 8.1 it was perfect.
